It works because buyers prefer pure or responsibly created products and services. From carbon neutral to 100% purity to recycled materials, what your offering is made of can make the sale.
How can you use it?
Depending on your offering, identify the most desirable elements that are used to create it and promote them. Could you become carbon neutral, source more responsibly or eliminate artificial elements from your offering to reach 100% purity?
You can also talk about the number of ingredients/things that make up your deliverable. It could be that a small number is attractive to your buyer (only 3 ingredients!) or it could be that a large number is more appealing (over 500 components!)
